What is Interactive Slot System ?
Interactive Slot System is a revolutionary concept which is opening a new area in the slot world. This system turns traditional driving style into obsolescence because, for the first time, the user is able to control leaning in real time in a two-wheeled slot vehicle. Indeed we are talking about the new scaled competition bikes created by Bycmo.
Professionals and experts of the slot environment who had the chance to test prototypes in experimental conditions praise the ride feeling transmitted by the ISS machine for its superb handling, lean control and acceleration. As it happens in real scale, the rider's dexterity at the controls of this slot bike increases progressively his acquaintances with its dynamic reactions and track behaving.
Technology
Bycmo's vast experience in RC technology has allowed its I+D departement to develop this unique project. A clever employ of servoassisted elements stands among the decisive points of the ISS bike. The guide blade is located under its central keel, as is the magnet regulating traction and roadholding. Power source must be from a 16v/3Ah current transformer.
The ISS bike may be used in the main track systems availables in the market, but only with the interactive control gun purposely developed by Bycmo. This device is another of the key components of the ISS system. Its has two trim-tab controls for power and verticality adjusting, a potentiometer for accelerating and a very precise leaning wheel derived from RC hardware.
Compatibility
To operate the motorcycle requires :
- A power source of 16 Volts delivering 3 Amps for perfect playability. In order to achieve proper operation on Scalextric Hornby tracks, the use of a BYCSLOT transformer is indispensable.
- An Analog powerbase (incompatible with the Digital Systems).
- Ninco : compatible (3.5mm Jack input).
- SCX (new system) : (3.5mm Jack input).
- SCX (old system) : compatible with the tracks adaptator for SCX 18675.
- Scalextric : compatible (3.5mm Jack input).
- Carrera : compatible with the tracks adaptator for Carrera 18676.
- Club : compatible with the tracks adaptator for Slot Club 18670.
